[Just sitting on Appa's head with grandpa because obviously it's the best place right now. She is definitely leaning over the side to watch everything go by underneath. A sky bison is the best way to get a look at the village as a whole.]
[BUT THEN EVERYTHING CHANGED WHEN THE FIREBENDER ATTACKED-
...and by "attacked" I mean he is done with his firebending practice for today yet still somehow has the energy to wave enthusiastically at the giant flying bison.]
HI APPA!
[He is loud. Obnoxiously loud. Intentionally loud because he wants APPA to hear him so APPA can say hi and let him pet him and give him an apple he stole from the fridge so maybe he can have a free bison ride today.
Airbender riding Appa? Sorry, not cool enough to shout "hi" too.]
That's Wan. He's one of our roommates! He's from our world somehow. [AKA Grandpa Prime.
Appa gives a roar, and Aang tries to shout down in what's supposed to be a deep and silly-sounding bison voice.]
'Hey Wan! Come up onto my fluffy back and say hello! And join the art club!' [Aang might try abruptly bending the earth beneath Wan's feet while bringing Appa down more to try to catapult Wan directly onto Appa's back.
Somehow, catapulting this man just seems like the natural thing to do.]
[There's something oddly familiar about the firebender who makes an appearance. Maybe it's just because he sort of seems like Meelo - all excited and talking to Appa. Really, her spot on Appa's head isn't a good one for actually getting a good look at his face.
Though that name. Sure, Wan was used throughout the years but Jinora almost thinks it could be...
She leans over to see if that will give her a good look, one hand holding on to Appa's horn to make sure she doesn't fall off. But then grandpa sends him flying into the air.]
[Action: July 13th] In Which Appa Gains Wan More Passenger
Look, look, we're flying back over Avatar House! Whoooosh!]

Wow. Do you do that a lot, grandpa?
